Kurzer Zwischenstop.
So guys, I’m back from my little trip. Actually I’m back since Monday but I didn’t feel like writing about it, not because it wasn’t good but because I didn’t feel like doing anything since Monday. Anyway I guess it’s time to get some stuff done and so here I am. Back on tumblr, telling you about my weekend.
I left early on Friday morning and got to Friedrichshafen just in time because there was a lot of traffic on the highway. After I found my sales booth and was welcomed by Claudia and Helmut which are my coworkers and supervisors, I got ready to do my job as a show pilot and salesman. It was good to see Claudia and Helmut again, the last time I saw them was almost a year ago in Stuttgart. The both are kind and friendly and also very funny at the same time. They are from Aschaffenburg which is near Frankfurt so they have this funny accent but that’s just a side note.
The day went by fast, flying the helicopters is so much fun and talking to so many different people is very interesting. There were a lot of people from Switzerland and they the way the talk is just super funny and interesting at the same time. The pronounce the ‘ch’ really hard and dry.. so it sound just really great when they talk, at least that’s my opinion. At around 6pm the fair was over for this day so we got to the hotel and I checked in. My room was super nice, clean and very cozy.

Remember when I told you about how I’m going to spend my evening and free time? Yah me too, but forget about it! Helmut and Claudia took me out to a different restaurants and bars. We ate and got a few drinks. I was already kind of tipsy when we got back to the hotel. I had to pay for absolutely nothing! I mean how amazing is that? I could eat and drink what and how much I wanted.
When I woke up on Staurday I got this amazing view from my window

Lake Constance was just 50m away from my hotel, but I was late for breakfast so I couldn’t go down there to take some pictures. But we walked along the promenade later that night and it was just beautiful to see the lights from the other side and the boats and ferries and stuff.
So I decided to round it up from here since I didn’t plan to write a diary here. I had a really great time in Friedrichshafen. Working there was just such a nice change to the normal life back here and I spend some real quality time with Claudia and Helmut. I also got offered a job at their company as a operation manager but I don’t plan to work there full time. I didn’t see the swimming pool and I did not take many pictures. But I had a great time, earned a lot of money, got away from home, had some time for myself and got over some stuff I had in my mind. So I guess all in all it was the right thing in the perfect time. Next week I’m going to work for them at a fair in Stuttgart. I’m already looking forward. If you life any close to here or plan on going to Stuttgart, contact me I got free tickets!
So this was my little trip to Friedrichshafen. Keep it classy my lovely followers.
love, Sebastian
